Building Code of New York State
PREREQUISITES: COURSES 9A, 9B,9D and 9E
This course will address the construction requirements of the Building Code of New York State for a commercial structure. A typical plan review process is covered using information from the preceding courses, as well as specific code references pertaining to the detailed drawings used for this purpose. A plan review checklist is included in the student handout material. The course is designed to provide 21 hours of classroom training, including a 1.5 hour final examination.
