The 2010 Energy Conservation Construction Code of New York State (the 2010 ECCCNYS) becomes effective December 28, 2010. A clarification article of frequently asked questions (FAQ's) on the new code is available here.

Please Note: When using REScheck in New York State, the 2010 ECCCNYS (and not the 2009 IECC) must be used as a reference for the REScheck software. RESCheck Version 4.4.1 and COMCheck Version 3.8.0 (and subsequent versions) can be used for compliance with the 2010 ECCCNYS and are available now at www.energycodes.gov
