December 6, 2010

Acting Commissioner of the Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, Andy Beers approved the Lake Erie Concord Grape Heritage Area Management Plan. The Plan was prepared with funds provided under Title 11 of the Environmental Protection Fund Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (EPF LWRP) through the Department of State, Office of Coastal, Local Government and Community Sustainability.

The Office works in partnership with communities across the State through the Local Waterfront Revitalization Program to prepare and implement long-term management programs to revitalize waterfronts and protect natural and cultural resources. As an active member of the Heritage Areas Advisory Council, grants are provided to support preparation and implementation of Heritage Area Management Plans.
