Governor Cuomo Announces 2012 Regional Economic Development Council Awards
After a successful first round in 2011, the 2012 Consolidated Funding Application (CFA) made economic development resources available from 22 programs across a dozen state agencies. The state agency programs provide resources for projects focused on community development and job creation, direct assistance to business, waterfront revitalization, energy and environmental improvements, sustainability and low-cost financing.
The Department of State is proud to have contributed over $15 million to the CFA under Title 11 of the Environmental Protection Fund Local Waterfront Revitalization Program (EPF LWRP). This year, the Department of State is providing grant awards for sixty-six (66) projects across New York State to revitalize communities and waterfronts spurring economic development.
