Department of State Receives Concurrence on Routine Program Change for the Hudson River Significant Coastal Fish and Wildlife Habitats.

The Department of State has received concurrence from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Office of Ocean and Coastal Resource Management on new and updated habitat designations of Significant Coastal Fish and Wildlife Habitats as part of the Routine Program Change to the New York Coastal Management Program. The Routine Program Change includes updates to existing Hudson River Significant Coastal Fish and Wildlife Habitat narrative language, which includes boundary extensions for 13 of the habitats and the combination of 4 habitats combined into 2, as well as adding the designation of 7 new Significant Coastal Fish and Wildlife Habitats to the river.
