Public Notice and Meeting Agenda

A meeting of the STATE FIRE PREVENTION AND BUILDING CODE COUNCIL will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at the following locations, via videoconferencing:

99 Washington Avenue (One Commerce Plaza), Albany, New York, in Conference Room 505;

123 Williams Street, New York, New York, in Conference Room 231;

65 Court Street, Buffalo, New York, in Conference Room 208.

The public has the right to attend the meeting at any of the locations.

CONDUCT OF MEETING

        The Code Council will convene at 10:00 a.m., Department of State, 99 Washington Avenue, Albany, New York, 123 William Street, New York, New York and 65 Court Street, Buffalo, New York.   All Code Council meetings are open to the public.

        Persons who wish to address the Council during the meeting should submit their request to the Building Standards and Codes Division as soon as possible to be considered on the speakers list during the Public Comment period of the meeting. Written comments or documents must be received by the Building Standards and Codes Division at least three business days prior to the meeting in order to be considered by the Council at the meeting.  Please submit requests to address the Council, and/or written comments or documents to Mark Blanke, Assistant Director for Code Development at the Department of State, Building Standards and Codes Division, 99 Washington Avenue, Albany, New York 12231 or e-mail: Mark.Blanke@dos.ny.gov

 

SERVICES AVAILABLE

                If you have a hearing problem, an assistive listening system is available for your use.  This listening system would amplify the speaker’s voice.  If you are deaf, an interpreter may be provided.  You must notify Mark Blanke at (518) 474-4073 of your need at least five days prior to the meeting.
