New York State Athletic Commission Open Meeting on September 28
NYC – Members of the Department of State’s New York State Athletic Commission (NYSAC) will hold a public meeting at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 28. The meeting will take place at 123 William Street in New York City and will be simultaneously webcast in the Albany office located at One Commerce Plaza at 99 Washington Avenue.
Agenda items include discussion of proposed regulations regarding the authorization of sanctioning organizations for single-discipline martial arts, potential referral to the Attorney General of unregulated activity, updates from the Medical Advisory Board regarding health and safety disclosures to boxers, and a review of upcoming NYSAC events. The public is welcome to attend the meeting at either location.
