Secretary of State Cesar Perales to Survey the Damage to Homes in the Village of Mamaroneck
in the Wake of Hurricane Irene and Meet with the Local Community Assistance Agency
Will meet with family whose home was severely damaged as a result of flooding
ALBANY – Secretary of State Cesar A. Perales will be in Mamaroneck, New York today, Friday, September 2, 2011 to tour neighborhoods damaged by Hurricane Irene.
The Secretary will meet with members of the Mamaroneck chapter of the Westchester Community Opportunity Program at 11:00 a.m. at the Mamaroneck Neighborhood Center 134 Center Avenue, Mamaroneck, where he will meet with a family whose home was severely impacted in the flooding. Afterward, he will tour neighborhoods that were severely damaged by the storm.
Members of the press are invited to attend both the tour and the meeting with the family.
