DOS Holds a Public Hearing and Meeting on Real Estate License Issues

ALBANY - The New York Department of State will hold a public meeting followed immediately by a public hearing on Wednesday, May 2, at 10:30 AM, regarding the profession of real estate salespersons and brokers. The meeting will take place using videoconferencing at the following locations: One Commerce Plaza, Conference Room 505, in Albany, NY; and 123 William Street, 19th floor conference room, in New York City. The public has the right to attend the meeting at either location.

The Department’s Division of Licensing Services issues licenses to persons who sell real estate, and the Real Estate Board assists the Department in adopting rules and regulations relating to this discipline. A copy of the proposed meeting agenda and all public documents to be discussed can be found on the Department’s website.
