Some approved In-service Code training programs are available online. These courses are approved by DBSC.
Online training is recognized as an acceptable format and means of obtaining up to 24 hours of New York State Code Enforcement In-service Training annually.

The 2015 Training Regulations now require at least 3 hours of approved training in the following topics:
• Topic 1 - Code Enforcement and Administration
• Topic 2 - Uniform Fire Prevention and Building Code
• Topic 3 - Energy Conservation Construction Code
Approved Online Courses
The following courses have been approved for annual In-Service training credit. Unapproved online classes may be used toward Professional Development Electives.
