The New York Department of State’s Division of Consumer Protection (DCP) is conducting free education and training seminars on All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) safety to better protect New Yorkers. Beginning
August 15, DCP’s outreach coordinators will visit regions throughout the State that have ATV trails and high concentrations of ATV ridership. The seminars will provide information about proper ATV use and, when available, hands-on riding training. The events will be held in conjunction with the ATV Safety Institute, ATV dealers, the U.S. Consumer Products Safety Commission, and County Sheriff’s offices. The events are open to the public and no RSVP is required to attend.
