Coastal Consistency Decisions Search

Federal provisions of the Coastal Zone Management Act require that federal agency activities and actions necessitating federal authorization or funding be consistent with the enforceable policies of state Coastal Management Programs. The Department of State Office of Planning and Development reviews such activities to ensure that proposed actions which would affect New York’s coastal zone are consistent with the New York State Coastal Management Program.
