New York Department of State’s Division of Licensing Services to Hold Public Meetings to
Consider Need to Adopt a Cease and Desist Zone in Queens
on Wednesday, September 14 and Thursday, September 15, 2016
The New York Department of State’s Division of Licensing Services will hold public meetings in Queens to consider the need to adopt Cease and Desist Zone in the community. The first meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 14 at 7:30 p.m. at The James J. Ambrose School, 80-51 261st Street, Floral Park, NY, 11004 and the second meeting will be held on Thursday, September 15 at 7:30 p.m. at Bayside High School, 3224 Corporal Kennedy Street, Bayside, NY, 11361.
If a zone is established, owners of residential property in the affected areas will be eligible to add their information to a cease and desist list which will be maintained by the Department of State. Real estate brokers and salespeople will be prohibited from soliciting listings from those registered on the cease and desist list.
